Jessica’s keen interest in HR can first be traced back to her Psychology & Criminology degree at Sheffield Hallam University. This enthusiasm grew stronger whilst working at a City consultancy, where her responsibilities included HR, Recruitment and Finance. She joined JourneyHR in February 2017 and has since enjoyed working closely with different agencies. Understanding her clients’ businesses and unique HR requirements, then designing tailored solutions is what gives Jessica a real buzz.

She has been exposed to all facets of human resources with a heavy focus on employee relations, resourcing and wellbeing.
When she doesn’t put out HR fires, she loves entertaining her friends and family at her house, trialling out new recipes she discovers on her travels (better said, she uses them as guinea pigs to test her cooking skills!)
Her favourite journey so far was travelling to Mexico where she met the most amazing people and where she learnt that you don’t need a lot to be happy and that nature can be your best friend or your worst enemy.
